Factors to consider when doing keyword research.

  1. How would a potential customer perform a search? Shift from how you would describe your product or service to understanding the terms that a consumer would use to search your business or a business similar to yours.

Keyword research is mostly done for;

  • Paid Per Click(PPC) Campaign

Businesses consider PPC Campaigns to raise awareness about their brand or generate leads. When setting up an Ad Words campaign Google Keyword Planner should be your primary go-to tool for research. As you create keywords it’s also important to note & include negative keywords which will help prevent your ad from matching irrelevant search queries. Serpstat & SEMrush are also helpful when doing research for a PPC campaign.

One reason why research is important during web development and is significant for the website’s existence is the aspect of SEO. Including keywords in content will allow for your website to rank better on search. Google is intent based as such to be able to drive organic traffic to your website your content SHOULD include keywords that matches a user's intent.

As you research for your website, you can also check what keywords are performing well for your competitor also known as Competitor Analysis. Competitor analysis can be described as defensive offensive strategy. As you research DON'T copy paste what's exactly your competitor is doing, it's meant to inform you on ways you can improve your existing content or get inspiration of how you can tweak your content.

For competitor analysis consider;

Keyword Research is valuable for boosting sites. Usually, SEO-specialist need to collect semantic kernel to develop a new website or optimize the old one. You wouldn't get the desired result if the semantic kernel is made with errors.

Also, keyword research is useful for text optimization.

Last year we started a project of the full optimization of our blog. We studied our semantics for each post; we find missing keywords and embedded them into text. Since then, we started to optimize all of our content. As a result, a part of organic traffic has increased several times.

Social media serves as a bridge of connection between one's business and potential clients. One of the most valuable social platforms is Google My Business that allows creation of a business page. A Google Business Page serves great purpose for once business, its values include; 1. Gives your business better position on Google search results. As you are making posts on the page make sure to include keywords that clients would use to search for your business or a business that matches product or service you are offering. 2. Social Media Marketing Vs Influencer Marketing.

Every marketing channel a business chooses to grow into is definitely driven by certain objective's; create brand awareness, customer acquisition, customer retention. However to be able to achieve all this there has to be content readily available for your client/customer otherwise how will you keep people on your platforms engaged.   Social Media Marketing is solely built on the content you create and your ability to engage with your existing and potential client(s).  Most reliable channel I would recommend to startups because once you've got content and make posts consistently you are making it easier for people who would be interested in your brand to find you. Put in mind that as you post inlude keywords that a potential client would use to find your product/service. It will be of great value to build up content that sets a position for you on organic search rather than using Pay Per Click (PPC) where you pay to be on that position i.e. Google AdWords and once you c
