Instagram Feed Aesthetic- A consumers perspective.

Instagram has seen tremendous growth of new users over the years both for personal & business accounts. Brands aiming to connect with their ideal customers is the everyday routine through Content Marketing & Story Telling on their feed. Of importance is consistentcy to allow follower growth and engagment. Your Instagram feed is like a customer walking into a physical shop or a display booth. Make it a worthwhile experience for them to consider following you because your feed appeals & adds value to them, is entertaining or educates them. On some intances an encounter with a brand doesn't always mean an instant purchase however your content would nurture them into becoming a paying client.

Here are a few Instagram Feed Aesthetic tips you can consider;
  • Natural light is your bestfriend. Consider taking photo between 9.00am to 12.00pm or 4.00pm to 5.00pm. It allows for easier editing if necessary.
  • Create a similar backaground or theme across all your photos. It makes it easily identifiable to your audience and makes your feed appear appealing.
  • Use photo editing apps particular to adjust sharpness. You can consider Vsco or Inshot.
  • Use the preview app as it offers valuable features i.e. rearrange your posts to create an appealing layout, analytics, scheduling.
