Is there a future for Influencer Marketing.

So many words can be used to describe the value of Influencer marketing; it is convenient, trustworthy, etc.

The real question is, IS THERE A FUTURE FOR IT. There so many reasons why its future is uncertain however this two stand out;
  • use of user generated content (UGC)
  • use of brand ambassadors

User Generated Content
This is definitely a gold mine, if everyone who received a product/service went ahead to post about it to their followers and tagged the person to whom provided the product/service to them imagine just the extent to which the information & experience has been shared. More people get to know about the product but moreover the business is able to understand at what level their customers enjoy the product/service offered. It also gives the business  a chance to share to their not yet customers what value they would get.

Brand Ambassadors
Person/People who already particularly identify with your brand as a result people who identify to the individual feel as though they could use the product since they can connect with the ambassador or the brand had them in mind. This also helps you keep in touch with your potential/existing clients because you are in direct communication with them or communicate directly to someone who they can relate to.

Use of either UGC or brand ambassadors or both is definitely one long term marketing channel businesses should draw strategies across since its advantages speak for themselves and definitely cost efficient.

Every marketing channel a business chooses to grow into is definitely driven by certain objective's; create brand awareness, customer acquisition, customer retention. However to be able to achieve all this there has to be content readily available for your client/customer otherwise how will you keep people on your platforms engaged.   Social Media Marketing is solely built on the content you create and your ability to engage with your existing and potential client(s).  Most reliable channel I would recommend to startups because once you've got content and make posts consistently you are making it easier for people who would be interested in your brand to find you. Put in mind that as you post inlude keywords that a potential client would use to find your product/service.
